LEV Conference is an annual event which provides the international trade audience with the latest news on technological developments, industry standards, market trends, and international legislation refering to light electric vehicles. Top speakers from around the globe report on their fields of expertise.

In 2008 and previous years LEV Conference was held in Taiwan in March during or after Taipei Cycle Show. This year it was one of the first events to open its gates at the brand new Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei.

LEV Conference ist organized by ExtraEnergy of Germany, ITRI and TAITRA of Taiwan. The 2008 event was sponsored by the Taiwanese companies Welldone, EXA, PHET, and UL.

Press partners of LEV Conference 2008 were Japan Cycle Press, Bike Europe, and other international trade magazines. A Taiwanese TV program filmed electric bikes and the battery charging panel at the conference.
