In line with the battery university in Aschaffenburg, a LEV workshop took place on April 14, 2010. The focus was on the lithium ion battery technology, the regulations for transportation as well as the standardization of batteries. A much discussed topic was the new law regarding the replacement of old batteries that was set up by the German government and became effective in the beginning of 2010.
